My oh so favorite memory was my daughter meeting her great grandma for the first time. I moved to the US to be with my husband almost three years ago and in September we finally made it to Germany after Emmy was born so she could meet her german side of the family. It was all special, but seeing my grandma so proud to meet her great granddaughter was the best thing of 2017. Those moments make up for living so far away!
I have two favorite memories from 2017. The first was when my husband finally got his Chevy Volt. He has been dreaming about getting this car since he first read about them years ago. He still has that look in his eyes every time he drives it. The second is when the waters finally receeded. Yay! We flooded here and it was not a good summer at all. Never thought I’d be this happy for cold weather.

Buying and moving into our first house together was by far my favorite thing of 2017!!
My favorite memory is one night when all of my roommates and I were sitting in the living room, and one of them surprised us by making chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches!

My favorite memory of 2017 was winning my first big jury trial as a prosecutor with my amazing mentor and co-counsel and turning around to see the victim smile and cry happy tears for the first time since I began work on the case in 2015.

My favorite memory was surprising my daughter when I arrived in London to visit her while she was studying aboard.
My favorite memory of this year is moving into my new home with my love. It took a lot for us to overcome fears and get to this point and we have spent the last 6 months really building a home together! 💙
Favorite memory is from a family trip to Florida this fall. We enjoyed spending time with my husband’s grandmother (who’s almost 100!), bhulding sand castles with our 4 yr old, and swimming with the dolphins. Best family trip to date!

Opps forgot my favourite memory. Hmm probably being able to say goodbye to my Uncle before he passed away. It’s a sad memory but also one I’m so grateful to have gotten.
My favorite memory was taking my mom home. She had a stroke November 11 2016 while at my house. It was along road and she moved in here after she left the rehabilitation facility. Taking her home was something I wasn’t sure I would ever get to do but in February 2017 she went. We were both bawling as I drove away and it may have been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. She is now happily living on her own again ❤
My favorite memory of 2017 was taking my 2 year old and 4 year old to Idlewild park. It was their first time there, and it was so much fun watching them enjoy the same rides I loved as a kid.
Favorite memory of 2017 would have to be… getting my sweet little puppy, Tyson (he has a brown patch on his face like a little tattoo) on a whim and letting him turn my whole world upside down and fill my whole heart! I never knew I could love a puppy so much AND that I would be such a basket case dog mama! I don’t know how you do it with two sweet babies!

Spending time on our new boat on the lake was the best part of 2017.
Hmmm, narrowing down to just 1 event isn’t easy (or, obvious), so I think I will combine, getting together w/ our young adult children—there is always an abundance of laughter (and, typically, great food!) As busy as their lives have become, I cherish the times we are able to share😍

My favorite memory of 2017 was going to the lake with my whole extended family for a weekend and just relaxing.
My favorite memory of 2017 was when my fiance surprised me with a trip to LA to see a concert. We rarely take trips where it’s just the two of us, and we went sightseeing, ate lots of good food, and were just able to spend some good quality time together.
The best part of 2017 for me was spending 6 weeks doing my first clinic rotation while in grad school. It reminded me why I wanted to become a physical therapist in the first place! It was difficult and unnerving and enlightening and fun, as all good adventures should be.
My favourite memory was ice skating with hot cider on a first date with my now boyfriend of a year. Will be celebrating this weekend by revisiting that date! :)

It’s been a crazy year. I’m waiting on my (SIX MONTH) kitchen renovation to finish up. My favorite memory of the year will totally be when I can cook in a real kitchen again with all of my stuff put away!
